Painted Tennis Shoes

Class Description

Turn a pair of simple Keds tennis shoes into a work of wearable art that will kick off your summer fashion! We will paint the tennis shoes using a gently washable fabric paint as we learn some standard painting techniques such as double loading brushes, shading, highlights, push and pull and sponging. Choose from a class session June 25 at 6:30 pm or June 27 at 1:00 pm. Participants will need to bring a pre-washed pair of oxford style tennis shoes to class. All other painting supplies will be furnished. Ages 12 up are welcome, but students age 12-16 must have a registered adult companion in attendance at this class.
