Our Vision

Dear Learner,

To me, a a folk school is about the power of individual expression to build community. Throughout my sundry career as a teacher, principal, business owner and real estate agent I have found crafting and creativity to be a constant. No matter whatever else I was doing I always found time to take classes and attend folk schools. At every class and school I saw strangers come together to share in the creative process, like individual pieces of cloth coming together to form a beautiful quilt. My love of crafting and life long learning has given me a treasure trove of knowledge, skills and tricks, which I'm ready to share. I've put together a series of hands-on, skill based classes that I hope will bring people together to learn and create.
