Dresden Quilt

Class Description

Use your scrap fabric stash to create a beautiful Dresden block, and maybe even an entire quilt or a beautiful pillow. This quilt style was a staple of the 1930's and is making it's comeback. In the first class we will cover types of Dresden blocks, their origins and how they are made. The following classes will be a supported group of members, each completing their own Dresden quilt project. Topics covered will include cutting, paddle shape and size, sewing, layout, needle turning and quilting options.
